Throughout the school, it's important for us to share the benefits of reading
That's why we encourage our older students to share some of their favourite books by reading with our younger years.

This morning we had our famous Junior School Book Week Costume Parade
The fog wasn't enough to put off the likes of Wally, the Queens of Hearts and even a Dinosaur
Thank you to all of our parents, staff and pupils for all the hard work that went into creating the costumes https://t.co/RHc9AqYOA1
Today, we had the amazing Louie Stowell, author and illustrator, visit St Benedict's Junior School! Our pupils loved recreating scenes from her first three books and learning about Norse mythology. Thank you, Louie, for inspiring our young readers! #BookWeek https://t.co/NCb5z0WoHH
Halfway through Book Week and we were thrilled to welcome the talented author Peter Bentley to our Junior School! His animated presentation of his rhyming picture books had our pupils captivated and we can't wait to see what the rest of Book Week has in store! ✨
