Train to Teach With Us

St Benedict’s School is a strategic partner within the West London Teaching Training Alliance (WLTTA). St Benedict's is offering teacher training positions for the academic year 2024/25 in the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, Geography, History, Computing, Mathematics, Modern Languages & Cultures, PE and RE. All these subjects follow the PGCE course provided by St Mary's or Roehampton University, both esteemed for their high-quality teacher training programmes.

As a leading West London independent day school, there are many benefits to training at St Benedict's, including small class sizes, professional mentoring and varying CPD opportunities. The programme is unsalaried but will lead to the award of PGCE with the potential for 60 credits towards a Master's degree and Qualified Teacher Status.

The Initial Teacher Training section of the WLTTA website lists all available teacher training programmes including those at St Benedict’s School.  Any queries regarding these programmes should be sent to: pcurrey@sacredh.lbhf.sch.uk

If you are enthusiastic, resilient and dedicated to the excellent education of young people, please do get in touch. Any specific queries regarding teacher training at St Benedict's should be directed to Head of Initial Training, Matthew Donegan - mdonegan@stbenedicts.org.uk
