Another excellent set of A level results at St Benedict’s
The number of A*/A grades achieved by students at St Benedict’s is up again this year, at 42.2%. This is the highest proportion of top grades achieved at the school for the last 6 years. 71.3% of exams (almost three quarters) were graded A*-B.
There have been some quite spectacular results, with seven students achieving straight A* grades in at least 3 subjects: Phoebe Daly Jones (A* grades in Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Physics), Jules Dehon (A* grades in Economics, Maths, Further Maths and Physics), Max Lubowiecki (A* grades in Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and Physics), Lucian Mac-Fall (A* grades in Economics, Maths, Further Maths and Physics), Edward Moss (A* grades in Drama, Economics and Politics), Paulina Sienniak (A* grades in Classical Civilisation, History and Politics), and Sam Symes (A* grades in Art, Chemistry and Maths).
Twenty four St Benedict’s students have at least 3 A grades at A level this year.
A number of academic departments at St Benedict’s have seen absolutely outstanding results this year: 80% of exams in Art and at least 60% of exams in Drama, German, History and Maths scored A* or A grades.
Headmaster, Andrew Johnson, said: “It is excellent to see top grades up once again at St Benedict’s. I offer my warmest congratulations to our students and their teachers, who have worked so hard to achieve such impressive results”.
