Ealing Abbey Choir's First Girl Choristers
It's been a particularly special start to the term at Ealing Abbey Choir, as girls form part of its intake from St Benedict's for the first time in its 111-year history!
It's been a particularly special start to the term at Ealing Abbey Choir, as girls form part of its intake for the first time in its 111- year history. We welcomed 5 boys and 3 girls to take their first steps to becoming Choristers, by joining the choir as Probationers. Selected from Year 4 at St Benedict’s, this year’s group is Grace, Sabrina, Emmeline, Freddie, Harry, Oliver, Olly and Viren.
Sabrina said: “I am really enjoying being part of the Abbey Choir. I am very passionate about singing and love going to choir practice. It is exciting being involved with something so special."
Grace added: "I am very happy to be a new girl chorister. I think it is going to be amazing being a member of the choir because I have never been in a choir before. I really enjoy participating in choir practices and going to services in the Abbey."
Emmeline commented: 'I am extremely excited to be a member of the choir. I really enjoy going to choir practice and I like when Mr Eastwood's leads choir. I think my singing has improved a great deal!'
Congratulations to all!
