Junior School Spring Concert; "Music for a New Millenium"
The theme for this year’s Junior School Spring Concert, on March 1st, was “Music for a New Millenium”, featuring music from 2000 onwards.
The Junior School Chorus, Choir and Schola were in fine voice and sang a selection of songs from 2000 onwards – including some from film and TV shows.
During the instrumental section, too, there were many references to pieces of music that are linked to the 2000's, alongside pieces by Bizet, Offenbach, Tchaikovsky, and traditional Irish folk music.
The children’s talent, commitment and sheer musical enjoyment shone throughout the evening, as parents and guests enjoyed a wonderful evening from the 2000’s! Congratulations to all Form 1 and Form 2 musicians!
